Board approves tribute flag

The Armed Forces Memorial Tribute Flag has been approved by the village board to fly beneath the American flag on the village flagpole. Mayor Rob Liffland and Trustees Wayne Osborn, Tracy Durkin, Carol Reynolds and Allen Rundell voted unanimously to approve the flag on May 2. The installation of the flag on the village pole will be a part of the American Legion ceremonies on Memorial Day, May 30.
